Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is a curriculum with diverse intraculicular learning where the content is optimized so that students have enough time to explore concepts and strengthen competencies. Teachers have the flexibility to choose various teaching tools so that learning can be tailored to the learning needs and interests of students. In this research, the author uses a qualitative descriptive research method, which aims to provide a comprehensive and in-depth description of the various phenomena being studied, through observation, interviews, and documentation. In analyzing the data, the researcher uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the data analysis in the field show that MTs Raudlatul Mu’alimin Darul Abror Bekasi, West Java, is in line with the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. In lesson planning, Fiqh teachers can develop teaching tools related to teaching modules and lesson plans (RPP) according to the needs of the madrasa and students. However, the government also gives teachers the freedom to develop teaching modules. In the implementation of learning, teachers are given the freedom to choose teaching methods with approaches that encourage students to take an active role in learning, known as P5 (Project Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile). There is also a Project-Based Learning method. The final stage is the implementation of learning evaluation, which aims to achieve deep understanding for students, the application of knowledge in real contexts, and the development of character and positive attitudes.
