Abstract

This study aims to analyze the internalization of Panca Jiwa values in shaping the moral character of male students at Darul Muttaqien Islamic Boarding School, Parung, Bogor. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. Data sources consist of teachers, boarding school administrators, and male students, supported by documentary data. Data analysis is conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the internalization of Panca Jiwa values is implemented through habituation, task assignment, enforcement of rules, and daily activities in the boarding school. Supporting factors include discipline, exemplary behavior of teachers, and a conducive environment, while inhibiting factors include students’ initial lack of understanding and differences in background. This study concludes that the internalization of Panca Jiwa values has a positive impact on shaping students’ moral character, particularly in fostering responsibility, social awareness, and spirituality.
